Our dataset contains metadata about items held by our museums, galleries and archives. As of March 2011 there were over 137,400 items in the Black Country History dataset.
- dc.title – OBJECT NAME and TITLE of item
- dc:description – BRIEF DESCRIPTION of the item
- dc.subject – KEYWORD for the item, generally taken from the UK Archives Thesaurus (UKAT)
- dc.creator – ARTIST, MAKER, MANUFACTURER – who made the item if known, also contains the ORGANISATION who holds the item
- dcterms.temporal – DATE of when the item was made, this maybe a single date, a date range and may be a number eg 1765 or text eg 19th century, Georgian (1714-1837)
- dcterms.spatial – PLACE where the item was made
- dcterms.format – The FORMAT of the item, eg photograph,
- dc.source – PARTNER
- dc:identifier – UNIQUE IDENTIFIER for this item
